Hi,

I have a mortgage of $135k. I have $90k in my 401k and 80k in additional funds that are fluid, such as short term 5 month CDs. I am paying around $1075 a month in payments and expect that number to rise since my 3 year arm is no moving to my 5th year. We thought we would have moved (reason for 3 year Arm) but expect to stay in the house for a few more years. The property is worth around $300k and expected to remain around the same. I had checked the 401k calculator and to take half would result in a $444 monthly payment owed to myself. I currently contribute over 18% to my 401k.
I also know that I need to save around 6 months emergency funds which requires a bit more saving. Also, the main reason for the question is my 401k has been stagnant (no growth) for the last 6 months even with changes to my elections. Should I refinance just with the fluid monies? I have made customised cursors using RealWorldCursorEditor.

I have saved a scheme under Mouse Properties but when I restart the cursor appears as Windows Aero. When I open Mouse Properties, my customised scheme is showing but I have to click Apply to use my scheme.

Has this happened to anyone else?
Does anyone know how to prevent it from resetting?

I have a 4 year old daughter and a 6 month old son and i love them both with everything i have but i feel this urge and pull to have another baby,
Most of my friends are pregnant and recently having babies and i know i can cope with 3 children, but my fiance says 2 is perfect and thats that!

I know families who sold their property to bribe visa officers anticipating their son/girl will go there, make money and reimburse in two or three fold what is spent for him/her. This is a clear case of moral decadence. Consular Officers (including the chieves) of American Embassies are no exception. I have evidence, can organize the victims of such outrageous broad day light robbery if I have my way to take such cases to the appropriate authorities. The problem is the State Department is adamant and very defensive. They have stupid excuses like Africans are poor, they have no money to give bribe. This is not only simply simplistic and weak argument, but also full of sophistry and inexplainable arrogance. I personally tried to contact the state department. They refused even to reply to me. they get their shares?!!
I know it is hard for some of you to believe what I am telling you. I contacted the State Dept. with solid evidences, but they refused even to reply to me. I am very positive they sell visas for exorbitant price. I am NOT talking about the service charge you pay and take receipt for. I am talking about the money that goes to the pockets of the Consular Officers, including the Chief Consular Officer. I do have tons of evidences. Where shall I submit it too. i recently re-did a sony vaio pcv-rs 410 (replaced ntfs files and re-installed windows xp home edition ). well now its done and it doesnt recognize monitor or adapter it put me to default monitor,lowest (4 bit) color quality nothing but 640 x 480, and under adapter properties it says non-plug and play drivers manufacturer unknown location unknown. and under adapter information its all marked unavailable(chip type, dac type, memory size,adapter string, and bios information).

my 3 day old new laptop makes cracking sounds whenever i play music, whether i am using the touchpad, typing, or neither. usually, im just running a music player & AIM, so i dont think my computer isnt fast enough to play music without interruption.

I live in australia so what applies elsewhere may not apply here. My friend has been occupying the family home while disputing property settlement with her ex. The property is in joint names and she has been paying the bills and mortgage on it from maintenance received. Can she move out and leave it empty as long as the bills are paid or does he have the right to occupy it because it is empty and still in both names. From brief web searching, the UCC code looks complicated and confusing. Please help me understand it in the context of my office lease:
"Tenant grants Landlord a security interest in Tenant's personal property now or subsequently located on the premises. This lease is a security agreement under the Uniform Commercial Code. Landlord may file a copy of this lease as a financing statement."
Does a security interest imply money, along the lines of the security deposit? Or does it mean that if something happens (such as...dunno? I don't pay?) then the Landlord gets to keep my property? I'm not getting it.

Open Question: Turning wind into hydro power?

I have a creek that runs in my backyard. At the widest part it might have a width of five feet, at least on the segment on my property. I was thinking that I could use a turbine to generate electricity because it flows year round (I'm in canada), like a wind generator. If this IS a feasible idea then what kind of turbine would work best in water? How many blades, how big, what shape, etc. I'm guessing I'd have to make/order one and clock its average speed in the water to see if it could move fast enough to accomodate any energy production.

Open Question: My bestfriend committed suicide '99 and I still can't get over it, can anyone suggest what to do?

An hour after the Columbine Tragedy April '99 my bestfriend committed suicide because we were both dealing with the same issues leading to the Tragedy. I am mildly disabled and my bf was native. We were both locked in lockers and beat up on school property and harassed on regular basis. We attended private school, and the kids that would get in trouble for harassing us, there parents would pay the school to sweep the issues under the carpet if you know what I mean.
Now 8 years later I still can't get over him going home at lunch turning on the tv seeing the shooting and deciding to shoot himself because he felt that was the only way to end it. His birthday is feb 14th, a day thats suppose to be about love, brings me to tears. Everytime there is another school shooting happens I cry and it reminds me of what happened years ago.
How am I suppose to get over this? How long is this suppose to last? I'm on meds but nothing helps, i cry myself to sleep a lot of nights. What do I do??
Also a year later the kids at school thought they would be funny and give me a death threat explaining how and when they were going to kill me.Not funny at all and once again the School did nothing to prevent the harassment or fix the problem and the parents paid the school off.

What am I suppose to do? The meds don't work, the date of the suicide will never be forgotten because it happened following a major tragedy. His birthday is a major day.
I'm stuck, sad and lost.
