Open Question: I've Been Served After Repo. Need Advice.?
The bank gave me the option to redeem the vehicle, I choose that option and send the 10 days delay notice back, the collection manager told me over the phone she's going to ask her boss for approval, but never call back, I've called 2 times, she's not available, then I left the country to visit my family, when I came back, I've been served.
I currently have no job, only $50.78 in my bank account, renting this little apartment under my parents name (I'm over 18 of course), can they come in and sieze my property? Or can they do anything? I've two other car under finance in good standing though... under my name but still the lien holder is from other bank.

I have the deluxe edition, and all expansion packs, and I run it on Vista Home Premium, but when i install them in the correct order, this error message comes up and says, "It has come to our attention that you have installed another sims expansion pack over the previous one, for this property to work, The Sims will now update your installation". I select ok, and it asks, "Would you like to uninstall The Sims Making Magic". I uninstalled it, and i reinstalled it, and everytime i get ready to play it, it comes up with the same error message, can someone please tell me what to do to get my game working right?

The landlord has left some property on the premises which she thought she would not need, but has now found out she does need it and hence needs to collect it quite promptly?
In this situation the landlord has attempted to negotiate a time and date to pick up the property but the tenant has been difficult and avoidant (not answering phone calls or replying to letters etc etc)
So the landlord intends to send the tenant a letter giving two weeks notice about her intention to enter the property at a specific time and date and my question is if the tenant does not agree can the landlord still enter?
Further more if the landlord can enter under these circumstances and the tenant refuses them entry (bolting the doors shut) is this sufficient grounds to terminate the lease? (Under a standard Australian lease agreement)

Open Question: Why is street racing made out to be so evil, when drunk driving is clearly more dangerous?
Street racing in the media is made out to be some crazy dangerous thing that kills people every day. When in fact, there has been 188 deaths from street racing between 2001 and 2006.
Some states are pushing for street racing to be made into a FELONY, and other areas will crush your car if you are caught.
Crush your car. Your property that you paid for. At least they could sell the parts and car and give the money to charities.... such a f*cking waste.
Meanwhile, we have drunk driving. Which kills ten times more people each year (at least) than street racing. Yet little is done compared to the amount of prevantive measures of racing.
I'm not saying racing is right, it's dangerous, and illegal for a reason. But whoever is making these laws needs to get their heads out of their @sses and get the priorities straight.

Also I was told and had reason to believe that mischief to my property is caused bc of racism. See, we are among the few white people living in an all black middle class neighborhood, we also had a white mailbox for some reason when we moved here, but all the others are black. We had the mailbox cut off and stolen from us then the car window shattered. Ive talked to my neighbors and none of them had this problem â" only us. Even more recently, one of the windows of our house was shattered, as well as lawn mower stolen. What can I do to prevent this in the future.
For one, I cant move out even though I desperately want to, I hate this place and cant stand the people in this neighborhoodâ¦loud music is also a problem

Open Question: Best way to demolish single-car garage?
I have an old 12x19' single car garage on my property and would like to take it down myself. I have already taken the 12x5' shed-roof addition on it, but am wondering if I am going about it the proper (read: safe) way.
It is a simple gable end box - I plan to take a circular saw and cut up along the rafters on each side, and take down the roof piece by piece from back (alley) to front (back yard).
After the roof is off - the walls should be simple enough to deconstruct.
Anyone have any other suggestions (other than using a truck to pull it down, or a backhoe/bulldozer). There are two other garages within two feet on both sides of the building, an alley directly behind and approx. 25' to the back of the house.

Open Question: How do I fix this computer mic problem?
Before I moved my computer to a different place in my room, I could use my computer microphone. Then, for some reason, it won't work. I have already went to Options>Properties>Microphone, and I found it muted. I unmuted it and now, my microphone does work. However, when I talk, I can now hear my breath when I speak into the microphone. Whenever I talk into the microphone, whether i'm just on desktop with no programs running (other than the ones in the right taskbar) or I'm on messenger, trying to talk to people, I can hear my breath on the speakers whenever I talk into it. This hasn't happened before. Any suggestions?

Do you know a way to resolve this... we know that the church that owns the cemetary in this town doesn't pay taxes on that property.. and they sell to the public (like we do). {thats the argument that the county has for charging...that we sell to the public}. We feel we are being discriminated against because what they are charging is ridiculous.

Open Question: I knocked over a Bird's nest?
A pair of birds made a nest over our hydro electric / telephone box outside our house. We were not aware that there was little birds and an unhatched egg still in the nest so we removed the nest by shooting water at the nest to knock it over because this is how we usually get rid of the nests that rest on our property. However now there is an egg on the ground and we cannot pick up the nest or go near it because the bird flies towards us whenever we are near the nest. Because their nest is right beside our garage, a few times when I was trying to wash my car they tried to attack us and hence out of self defense we had to shoot water at them (it was all we had at our immediate disposal). Now we have a pair of angry birds outside our house, a nest on the ground with an egg. From looking at the nest from a distance the kids (of the birds) seem to have been taken away by the parents already. What should I do next?

Open Question: How does natural pool effect property value?
We live in Illinois and purchased a property with an above ground pool. We like to use the pool but I think it is an eyesore in the middle of the yard. I was thinking of replacing this pool with an in ground natural pool. One that has plants growing on the side and does not need chemicals to keep the water cleaned.
Since these types of pools are still relatively unknown in our area, I was wondering how this would effect the property value. I would hate to have trouble selling the house eventually just because the average Joe doesn't understand that a natural pool is actually better and cleaner than this blue chemical soup everybody is used to.
